Morphological characteristics and antibacterial activity of mulberry fruit varieties

چکیده

The present study was carried out to characterize the mulberry fruit yielding varieties (G4, MR2, G2 and S36) by its morphological characters analyze antibacterial activity of extracts G4 MR2. Among characters, colour ranged from purple, deep red dark red. Similarly, weight 0.5 1.52g in which recorded highest 1.52 g followed MR2 (1.10g), (0.713 g) S36 (0.5g). Based on availability quantum selected for against human bacterial pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus ATCC11632, Streptococcus pneumonia ATCC6301 epidermidis ATCC12228. different concentrations (20, 40, 60, 80, 100 µl) extracts, µl exhibited zone inhibition 17.0±1.25 20.0±0.81 mm showed response pathogens. extract S. with 19.0±0.49 mm. 20.0±0.73 findings indicated that have medicinal choice development alternative antimicrobial drug without any side effects seen chemical drugs.
